What you're looking at

The projects on this page represent a cross-section of recent hardscape work across Central Oregon. Patios in Bend, fire features in Sunriver, retaining walls in Redmond, flagstone in Sisters, walkways in Powell Butte, lighting design across the region every photo represents real homeowners who trusted us with their outdoor space and got back something they actively enjoy living with.

Hardscape photography only tells part of the story. The angles you see show the design and materials, but they don’t fully capture how a space feels when you’re standing in it, walking across it, hearing the water move, or sitting around the fire as the sky turns dark over the Cascades. We encourage prospective customers to ask for in-person tours of completed projects in their area whenever possible that’s where the real story comes through.

How to think about a hardscape project

Looking at finished work is incredibly useful when planning your own project, but it can also be overwhelming. Here’s how we suggest approaching it. First, look for spaces that match how you want to use your own yard entertainment spaces, quiet retreats, families with kids, low-maintenance designs. Second, look for materials and color palettes that complement your home rather than fight it. Third, look for structural elements (walls, steps, level changes) that solve problems similar to what your site has.

Once you’ve identified projects that resonate, save photos and bring them to your consultation. We’ll talk through what worked about each one, whether elements would translate to your site, and how to combine ideas into a design that’s right for your specific home and family.

What goes into a project like this

Every project on this page started the same way a phone call or contact form, a free in-person consultation at the home, a detailed written estimate, and then weeks of design conversation, materials selection, and careful construction. The timelines vary. A simple patio might take two weeks. A large project with multiple retaining walls, a patio, lighting, and a water feature might take six to eight weeks of construction plus weeks of planning before that.

The best projects are collaborations. We bring decades of combined hardscape experience and a clear understanding of materials, construction, and design. Our customers bring intimate knowledge of how they want to live in the space, what their family actually needs, and what feels right against their home and landscape. The combination is what produces work worth photographing.
