Flagstone is timeless
Flagstone is one of the most beautiful and enduring hardscape materials available. Earth-toned, naturally textured, and available in colors that complement nearly any architectural style, flagstone patios and walkways feel like they belong from the moment they're installed. They age gracefully, weathering to a soft patina that only adds character.
Tight-jointed installations
Our specialty is tight-jointed flagstone work pieces hand-cut and fitted together with minimal joint width for a clean, refined finish. This requires significantly more skill and time than wider-jointed installations, but the result is a flagstone surface that feels intentional and refined rather than rustic and rough. Joints can be filled with mortar, polymeric sand, or planted with creeping ground covers depending on the look you want.
Coordinating with other hardscape
Flagstone pairs beautifully with other elements boulder retaining walls, stone seat walls, and natural stone steps all coordinate visually with flagstone patios. We design and build the entire suite of elements together so colors, textures, and lines flow together as one cohesive design.
Flagstone Installation FAQs
Mortared flagstone over a concrete base is the most permanent installation. Sand-set is quicker, less expensive, and allows for planted joints. Both have their place.
